Data Deletion Instructions Last updated: 12.04.2026 Provider: Bjoern Olausson trading as BEO Email: mail+legal@olausson.de Website: https://olausson.de This document applies to all applications published by Bjoern Olausson trading as BEO, including but not limited to: - Sync Provider for Proton (Android) - Mail Checker for Proton Mail (browser extension) 1. Overview We do NOT operate any servers and do NOT store any of your personal data on our own infrastructure. All data handled by our applications is stored either: - Locally on your device (in your browser profile, app storage, or the operating system's native Contacts/Calendar providers), or - On third-party servers you already have an account with (e.g. Proton AG's servers), which are governed by those third parties' own privacy policies. Because we do not collect or store any user data under our control, there is no remote data for us to delete on your behalf. All deletion can be carried out directly by you through the steps below. 2. How to Delete All Data Stored Locally by Our Applications Removing your account from within our application is the fastest and most complete way to delete all associated local data: 1. Open the application 2. Go to Settings or Preferences 3. Select the account you want to remove 4. Tap / click "Remove Account" (or equivalent) 5. Confirm the removal This deletes: - Authentication tokens and stored credentials - Any synced content that the application wrote to your device (e.g. contacts, calendar events) - All local sync metadata, preferences, and cached data Alternatively, uninstalling the application (or removing the browser extension) will remove all application data stored under its control. Depending on the operating system's account framework, some synced content written to system-level providers may remain; using the in-app account removal described above beforehand ensures a complete cleanup. 3. How to Delete Your Data on Third-Party Servers (e.g. Proton) Content processed by our applications remains stored on the third-party services you use them with (such as Proton). Those servers are not under our control. To delete data from your third-party account, please use that provider's own tools: - Proton Mail web interface: https://mail.proton.me - Proton Calendar: https://calendar.proton.me - Proton Contacts: https://mail.proton.me/contacts - Proton account deletion: https://proton.me/support/delete-account For other services, consult the provider's own account management and data deletion documentation. 4. Subscription and Payment Data Subscription and payment information is handled exclusively by the payment platform used at purchase (e.g. Google Play Billing, Paddle). We do not store any payment details. - Google Play subscriptions: Google Play Store -> Profile -> Payments & subscriptions -> Subscriptions - Paddle purchases: https://customer.paddle.com To delete payment data held by these platforms, contact them directly. 5.
